Usually, when considering where people turn for information or knowledge, the logical sources people think of are databases; the Web; intranets and portals; and other, more traditional repositories (e.g., file cabinets, policy and procedure manuals). However, research has shown that a significant component of one’s information environment consists of the relationships that a person can tap for various informational needs. For example, a study conducted by Allen and Henn at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology found that engineers and scientists were roughly five times more likely to turn to a person for information than to an impersonal source, such as a database or a file cabinet.
While selecting the requirements we may have different ways to accomplish our task, but we need to select the best feature that suits our project. So, testability is the one which can help us up to what extent this requirement can suitably fit in our project. As a part of collecting the requirements we need to take care of the end user’s needs, in which way they want to operate the system, the flow of the data, their main business motto.
